Porto Itapoá is among the 50 most innovative companies in the South of Brazil.

On April 16, the Terminal was awarded as one of the 50 most innovative companies in the South of the Country. We are the only port to appear in the traditional ranking of Amanhã Magazine. The selection was based on the methodologies that companies adopt, from the generation of ideas to the development of services and products. This shows our alignment and focus on innovation in the port area, a novelty for a sector that is as consolidated as ours. The Campeãs da Inovação (Champions of Innovation) survey, conducted by the magazine, that is in its 15th edition receives questionnaires from about 400 companies. The answers were processed at the IXL Center in the United States.

The research uses the Innovation Management Index, a methodology tool of the Global Innovation Management Institute (GIMI) applied by the IXL-Center, in Cambridge, Boston Metropolitan Area (USA). Gimi is a global non-profit organization created by a team of executives, academics and innovation consultants. The group helps individuals, companies and regions develop world-class innovation management skills through standards, metrics, test protocols and global certifications.
